Who we are

Urban Tailor was born from my search for the perfect suit. As an American now based in Brisbane, I’ve always appreciated sharp tailoring, but finding a high-quality, made-to-measure suit at a fair price felt nearly impossible. That changed during a trip to Thailand, where I had a suit made by an incredible tailor in Bangkok. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall experience were unmatched—better than anything I’d found off-the-rack and at a fraction of the price.

That experience inspired me to bring the same level of quality and value to others. I partnered with that same tailor—affectionately known as Uncle—and together, we created Urban Tailor. When you order a suit, Uncle and his team meticulously craft it in Thailand before shipping it to Australia. Once it arrives, I personally ensure it fits perfectly, with any final adjustments handled by a skilled Australian seamstress.
